Consultation: 

First, have a conversation with us and see what we’re all about and if we’re a good fit. We’ll focus on designing an amazing portrait or wedding experience for you. Our conversation could be over Skype, on the phone, or in person. We’re committed to exceptional customer service to create unique art for your home and heirlooms for a lifetime. At your consultation, we’ll get to know each other. Imagine the kind of photos you want to create and we can develop the vision.

Retainer and Payments: A non-refundable retainer $300 for sessions and $750 for wedding or a gift voucher is required to retain the our services for the agreed upon date(s). All services performed will be prepaid and all balances paid, are non-refundable. All funds must clear before services are rendered and date(s) held. Any remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to date of event or we will not perform services. Prices quoted for products/services are guaranteed for a period of 6 months following the date of the session or event. Orders placed 6 months after the date of the session are billed at the current rates in effect.

Cancellation: Should the session or event be cancelled or postponed the retainer is non-refundable unless we’re able to rebook the date committed to you. If postponed and the new date is available, the retainer will hold the new date. The retainer could be held as a credit for client to use for any services offered by photographer for a period of one year.

Wedding clients: We’ll ask you to tell us your story. We want to offer you a custom creative service. To do that we’ll need to know a little about you.

Good info to know: 

  • All orders include taxes and USPS ground shipping with tracking, so no extra fees. Contact us if you would like to make different shipping arrangements.
  • All of our Collection Art and Folio Collection includes the finished digital images on a crystal USB drive with a case. So you’re able to have art to display in your home and and use for your holiday cards.
  • We have payment plans available and can also setup a gift registry so that your family and friends can chip in to help fund your heirloom.
  • We accept credit cards, money orders, and checks. We process credit cards through Stripe so the safety and security of your information is ensured.
  • We’ll store your photos for the life of the photographer whether you purchase or not. No guilting or pressuring you into buying. Buy what you love.

What to expect at the session: 

We are a location photography boutique, the world is our studio. We can create a studio space most places on the planet, from a Greek island to your living room, even backyard. The session fee includes the photographer’s time and talent. Don’t worry, if we’re creating outdoors, we have a portable changing booth so you can change in privacy.

There is no substitute for experience. We have hundreds of portrait sessions, weddings, and events under our belt. Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but we have the personality, experience, and skill to work it out.

During your session or your wedding, I will guide and pose you to create the best look and emotion in your images. With the heart of a teacher, I’ll help shape any of your concerns away. Comfortable clients make awesome photos.

After your session: 

Your images will be sorted and finished so you see only the best, about 15-30 images. You deserve better then to see 50 photos mid blinking. Images with eyes closed, heads turned, duplicates, etc. will not be shown and are removed from our archives permanently. You are then invited to a Studio Premiere scheduled on a weeknight within a week of the session. In a comfortable setting, you can relax and relive your memories on the big screen w/family and friends.

After your wedding: 

Your images will be sorted and finished so you see only the best, could be about 300-600 images. Images with eyes closed, heads turned, duplicates, etc. will not be shown and are removed from our archives permanently. No images of you looking weird mid-toast with your mouth open. You are then invited to a Studio Premiere scheduled on a weeknight within 1-3 weeks of the wedding. In a comfortable setting, you can relax and relive your memories on the big screen w/family and friends.

Studio Premiere: 

It’s such an awesome time to experience your art for the first time. Your images and movie slideshow are projected onto our 132″ projection screen to highlight our creations. There’s music, bring your favorite wine and snacks, sit back, relax, and enjoy. Premieres typically last an hour. You are more then welcome to bring your family with you.

During the Studio Premiere, you’ll be able to get a feel for the quality and get an understanding of the products we offer, from the crystal USB Drive to the photos printed on metal. You can also save some money when you order at the Premiere.

Ordering: 

Ordering is done online through your own personal gallery. You can also save the gallery to your mobile device’s home screen like a personal APP. Online galleries go live 1-3 days after Studio Premiere and are live for 6 months with portraits and 12 months with weddings. The gallery gives you the option to share, download, and order prints, books, etc. We can also take orders and payment over the phone or in person. Gift Prints, La Casa Art, Collection Art, Folio Boxes, Save-the-Date Cards take 2-3 weeks after ordering to complete. Our work is custom and payment for any order must be placed in full and is subject to a 50% cancellation fee should you change your mind about an order after it is placed. Once an order is sent to the lab or digital files are released either by USB, electronic transfer, or email the order is deemed non-refundable.

Books: 

Books take 2-4 weeks after ordering to design and another 2-4 weeks, after your approval, to print. You have one set of revisions to the designed page spreads at no additional cost. We’ll show you the changes and you verify that we incorporated all your changes. Any additional revisions and editing requests are $50 per page spread. You have 3 months, after the initial draft, to finalize the book design. If you never approve the book or submit any revisions within those 3 months, we’ll complete, print, and deliver the initial design created. In some cases, on or around holiday schedules, materials produced under this contract may take longer due to third party vendor processing times.

Some legal stuff: 

Release: Our clients have the permission to make an unlimited number of copies and/or reprints of any image, or to reproduce the images for any non-commercial purpose. You have the right to use the images for personal use and distribution at no charge, including electronic mail and web pages. We reserve the right to use photographs created during the course of the work for display, advertising, social media, or other promotional uses. The photographer owns the copyright to these photographs and waives any claims based on any usage of the photographs. We won’t use the images for other commercial reasons unless we get written permission from you.

Failure to Perform: Extreme care is taken when capturing, processing, storing, and delivering images. However, in the event the we fail to live up to our obligations, for any reason, including but not limited to events outside of our control, the photographer’s liability is limited to a refund of all payments. The limit of liability for partial loss of the originals shall be a prorated amount based on the coverage selected and the percentage of originals lost. Compensation is limited to, and shall not exceed, the total service agreement price. We may substitute another photographer(s), of equal or greater skill, to create the photographs in the event of photographer’s illness or scheduling conflicts. In the event of such substitution, there is a guarantee that the quality and commitment to your session will be no less than what you contracted Sublime Images to provide. If an acceptable replacement photographer cannot be agreed upon or you decline the substitute photographer, you may terminate this agreement and we shall immediately refund all monies paid, including the retainer. In the event of a dispute, third-party mediation is the first course of action.

Specific to weddings: 

Location Rules: The photographer may be limited by the guidelines of ceremony official, government laws, and/or reception site management. The client agrees to accept the technical results of the imposition of these guidelines and laws on the photographer. Negotiations, necessary permits, location fees, are the responsibility of the client. The photographer is to be given advance notification of restrictions and notified of any changes to said restrictions. The photographer is not liable for any missed photos due to reduced time constraints for photographic opportunities at the church, reception, and/or any scheduled location where photos were to be taken.

Exclusive Photographer: Sublime Images shall be the exclusive photographer retained by the client for the purpose of photographing the wedding. Family and friends of the client are permitted to photograph the wedding as long as they do not interfere with the photographer’s duties. Any missed images or undesirable images caused because of friends and family interference is not the photographer’s responsibility.

Miscellaneous: Time not used is non-refundable and not transferrable for any other product or service. If the event goes longer and the client wishes an hourly time extension, the photographer must provide the additional coverage at the agreed rate. No overtime fees will be incurred without the prior verbal and/or written authorization of the client. The photographer shall not be held liable for the lack of time to take desired images due to the tardiness on the client’s behalf.
